DRINK IT IN, OUR PENZANCE GIN
A zesty, fresh artisan gin with natural botanicals from the deep west of Cornwall
What better place to produce an exquisite bathtub gin than the town with its own world-celebrated Art Deco bathtub?
It only took one hundred years to come up with the concept, but thankfully much less to produce our small batch smooth, earthy gin with a refreshing hint of citrus.
As three friends we’ve had so much fun making it; we hope you have as much fun drinking it. Our advice is to keep it traditional and enjoy Penzance Gin with tonic and ice, but of course, you can add a slice.
We are three friends living in the same quaint Cornish village, with a penchant for adventure and high quality Cornish food and drink.
One evening at our local pub quiz, our conversation meandered onto one of our favourite topics, gin. Before long we found ourselves zealously discussing the processes and intricacies of gin production and as the night drew to a close, we had decided to dedicate a winter to our new passion project.
We began to experiment with a range of botanicals such as gorse and other local flavours. After many tasting sessions and much gin-fuelled laughter we arrived at the uniquely flavoured hand crafted gin that we bottle and sell today in pubs, bars and restaurants across the county.
The Duchy is beginning to forge a reputation as a hotbed for world-class gin production; however, there are none that had claimed the title ‘Penzance Gin’. What a wonderful gift – to be able to encapsulate the rich heritage of our vibrant town, putting in on the spirits map with its very own self-titled compound gin.
A jewel in the Penzance crown is the architecturally stunning Jubilee Pool and what better image to use for our branding; especially as the eagerly anticipated project to geo-thermally heat the pool has recently been completed.
We now have a great tasting gin, a memorable name and an identity that reinforces our picturesque location – making it unique world over.
